Age of Site Analysis

The SEO Engine™, like other Search Engines, can examine the age of a particular Website, and base part of its SEO Engine™ Score off of the trust that comes along with having an older Website.

One of the most problematic issues when trying to provide relevant and useful search results to users is the many SPAM Websites that pop-up and die off almost overnight. Subsequently, the age of a subdomain is often correlated with a trust factor. Newer Websites tend to contain a higher percentage of useless SPAM directories and Link farms. Older Websites tend to have a lower percentage of SPAM Websites, and often coincide with successful companies that have stood the test of time.

In the SEO Engine™, there are a few ways you can view the Age of a Website. On every Webpage Scoresheet, under the "Crawl Statistics" tab, you can view the Age of the Website. Additionally, you can view the same data on the Website Dashboard, also under the "Crawl Statistics" tab.
