Google has its own database of PageRank™ scores for each Webpage, which it distributes through its Toolbar that users can install to their favorite Web Browser. PageRank™ is a log-based value similar to the Richter scale (earthquakes). On a logarithmic scale, 2 is not "2 times the value of 1", but rather the "log base to the power of 2 greater than 1". For an example, if we were to presume the log base was 10, a PageRank™ of 2 (10 to the power of 2, or 100) would be 10 times greater than a PageRank™ of 1 (10 to the power of 1, or 10). In its attempt to conceal the inner workings of Google's scoring algorithms, Google does not show the exact PageRank™ value, but rather a rounded version to the nearest log-based whole integer. SEO Engine™ provides an equivalent value in more precise terms, in decimal format, based off of Link Flow®.
