Dangling Links

Dangling Webpages often have Links to them because they contain important information. You likely have Dangling Links that are creating Link Loss™, however you want to keep them because they are linked to important Webpages.

Three solutions are available:

1. Remove the "nofollow" tag on the Dangling Link to prevent Link Loss™. Note: if this Link is being penalized for being an External Outgoing "Paid Link", then you may want to consider doing the next solution.
2. Place a link on the Dangling Webpage to route the Incoming Link Flow® back towards your important Webpages.
3. If the destination Webpage is blocked, remove the robots.txt block or META block directive and ensure the Webpage has at least one Outgoing Link on it.
