VP of Sales

Responsible for creating and managing business relationships with key strategic partners in the SEO/Software Industry.

Job Description

VP of Sales is a senior sales executive who has worked with technology manufacturers and their channel partners. Candidates who have sold technology enabled marketing services to channel organizations are preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • At least 15-20 years experience selling to and managing large, complex global technology accounts at all levels. A master's degree in business is preferred.
  • An in-depth, hands-on understanding of sales and marketing programs in the technology industry, including a deep, demonstrable understanding of technology industry trends and business challenges faced by senior level technology marketers and sales executives.
  • Well networked in the SEO/Internet marketing or software industry.
  • Exceptional track record of sales quota accomplishment and growth in large, complex, global technology accounts.
  • Proven board-level communicator with a facility for understanding and communicating technology enabled sales, direct marketing and service contract renewal strategies.
  • Intensely creative in his/her approach and should be able to develop solutions that meet customers' overall business needs.
  • Strong general business acumen, with an eye towards understanding, communicating, and selling to C-suite executives.
  • Demonstrate the ability to develop short and long term strategic plans aimed at serving and growing large global accounts.
  • Proven ability to collaborate internally to build consensus and direction among multiple constituencies.
  • Ability to coordinate activities across multiple internal operating units to ensure that client needs are being met.

Requirements:

  • Generating leads on their own into their named accounts and developing prospects.
  • Selling various business solutions to target prospects.
  • Reporting on sales activity such as calls, meetings, presentations, RFP responses, etc.
  • Working with the business division to perform strategic value assessments.
  • Participating in account planning strategy sessions for key accounts.
  • Managing the SEO Engine Certified Professionals™.
